I am just so glad that we found something that brings out DS's confidence, and self-defense is always a good thing, too. Best wishes with your boys as they master the art of TDK, Imelda!Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16187306461239093068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722828176120073793.post-38059592608348331052013-08-31T20:37:47.168-05:002013-08-31T20:37:47.168-05:00Congratulations to your son and to you.

How graceful the kids are.

I like that program in your Tae Kwon Do. What a way to encourage the children to do well in every aspect of their life. I thought breaking the board/bad habit was a nice touch--they even told us to choose on that they will very likely succeed at, since this is a first promotion. Thank you, Lisa, for reading and commenting even when you are busy as a mama to a newborn! I hope you are all well, and I appreciate your visits!!Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16187306461239093068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722828176120073793.post-40006678022327653582013-08-23T17:15:06.207-05:002013-08-23T17:15:06.207-05:00So interesting that its a way of life and philosop...So interesting that its a way of life and philosophy and not just martial arts. Can they teach my 3 year old to follow directions? Haha. Love that the graduation involved braking a bad habit, literally!!!lisacnghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08404184287815243972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722828176120073793.post-81736919078736954312013-08-19T15:16:15.644-05:002013-08-19T15:16:15.644-05:00Thank you, Janna! But to your point, this makes us very busy after school together with other extracurricular activities! And I hear it gets worse! :) Happy back-to-school to your boys! Congrats on his belt advancement!

My sons have been wanting to do martial arts but I haven't checked into it, mainly because they already have other activities right now.JannaTWriteshttp://jannatwrites.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722828176120073793.post-4924442570640570222013-08-16T14:57:29.246-05:002013-08-16T14:57:29.246-05:00Thanks, Nilsa! He has gotten lots of encouraging words from his masters and instructors, which makes him want to work even harder. A bit of self-defense knowledge is always a good thing, too! I wonder if Gavin would ever get into something like this, too, in a few years? :)Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16187306461239093068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722828176120073793.post-38782215941420605472013-08-15T13:50:10.228-05:002013-08-15T13:50:10.228-05:00I loved this post - there is something for everyon...I loved this post - there is something for everyone. And if tae kwon do helps your relatively quiet son realize his self worth and provides him with an activity he enjoys, then it seems like it must be declared a winner!Nilsa @ SoMi Speakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08474642034399063234noreply@blogger.com
