Pictures

As much as words have the power to spark one's imagination, illustrations can also boost communication visually.  I strive to photograph relevant shots to help accentuate the Moments my Letters attempt to capture.

All photos on this blog are original pictures taken by yours truly (and a few by DH).  They are typically captured on my cameraphone, edited with Snapseed or PicMonkey in the popular Instagram square format, and watermarked with "letters-of-muse.com" (or "letters-of-muse" in older posts).

Older posts also include original drawings I created using the software, Paint.  The drawings have diminished over time since my snappy fingers have taken over, but here are a few of my favorites:

Dear Same As

Dear Word Diarrhea

Dear Carnival Fish

Dear Ready

Please do not use any of these photos or drawings without prior consent from me.  Thank you.

  1. I was reading your Easter Egg Hunt post which I saw announced on Twitter, and then I saw your 'Pictures' tab. Photos always interest me so I looked. Your drawings are so cute. I especially like the turtle and fish. :-)

    1. Thank you, Imelda! It seems like I've been taking more photos lately. Only when I cannot snap a picture is when I resort to the drawing. But these are fun to do as well!

  2. I am sorry for the late reply. My web time these days is limited a bit. Continue your drawing - your drawings are fun and nice. And drawing is a fun thing to do. But taking pictures is great too. I just got a new camera (two year old model) that will let me play with manual settings. A little ambitious on my part, I should say, but the learning part should be fun. :-) Happy Easter if I do not get a chance to comment on any of your works. :-)

    1. I definitely want to explore more with photography. I want to learn some manual settings on our camera, but just haven't had the time yet. Right now my Android phone is my camera for my blog pictures! They're not the best, but I think they'll do, for now. I do enjoy the drawing, but it does take more time. Happy Easter to you, too!

    1. Thank you, Lisa. That was my 'favorite word' in #photoaday back in May or June! =)
